Perched on the third floor of the northeast corner of downtown Vancouver's new Nordstrom store, Bistro Verde restaurant is set to become a new institution in the city’s thriving dining scene. The Nordstrom-operated dining venue overlooks Robson Square and the Vancouver Art Gallery providing customers with an unparalleled urban backdrop for their dining experience. It seats approximately 199 people and is built with a modern and contemporary design, with an obvious West Coast twist through the extensive usage of wood elements and rock stone. Food is prepared behind a large glass-enclosed exhibition kitchen under the watchful eye of J.J. Fraser, a local chef who previously worked for Earls Restaurant. There is a sizable full bar back-dropped by an impressive wall of wines, serving specialty cocktails, beer and wine.

The restaurant is one of three food and beverage options designed by CCS Architecture and available at the expansive three-story, 230,000-square-foot store. There is a café, EBar, just beyond the store entrance at the intersection of Granville and West Georgia streets and a full-service bar &lounge, Habitant, is located on the second floor by the escalators.

Diners can enter the restaurant through the store or an express elevator accessible from the outside on Howe Street. This allows the restaurant to remain open beyond the store hours.
