COCINA MILAGRO

Cocina Milagro features all-day dining and is part of the inland pool and spa area, which is the most family-focused. The restaurant sits upon a stone terrace and provides generous views of the adjacent cenote and mangroves. The restaurant is very much a “pavilion” that has glass doors and full height windows on all sides, allowing the façades to open completely during pleasant weather. The deep eaves provide needed shade from the Yucatan sunlight while welcoming guests to dine in the outdoor loggia.

The interior program has three general areas; the drink bar, the open kitchen-dining room, and the main dining room - which has a small live-fire oven as the backdrop. The separate food and beverage stations support the concept of abundance and choice. Food is prepared in the open and much of it is displayed on distinguished wood and stone counters for service.

The materials include a combination of local stone, wood, locally crafted concrete tiles and glass.  Large hanging lights, exposed wood beams, and ceiling fans are suspended from the turquoise ceiling; colored to reference the sky and water.
