Project Architect

Krisjon began his architectural career in the construction industry with his grandfather a carpenter and immigrant from Hammarstrand Sweden and later working with his father a general building contractor.

After a 15 year period working as a carpenter with his father, Krisjon then made the decision to pursue architecture. 

Krisjon’s academic work included practical and theoretical studies with Professors William Whifler AIA and Paul Zimmerman AIA the founders of the Department of Architecture at the College of San Mateo, California. Krisjon also engaged in a rigorous 12 years of study and work with Architect Farro Essalat AIA RIBA, mentor, colleague, and associate. Farro Essalat AIA RIBA practiced in London and was also a professor and later Chairman of the School of Architecture and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tehran University. Additional professional work included 8 years with CJK Design Group led by Christ Kamages FAIA and Lamberto Moris FAIA former partner at SMWM (Simon Martin-Vegue Winkelstein Moris) designing buildings of faith, dwelling & community nationally.
