Originally from Madrid, Spain, Guillermo developed an interest in architecture at an early age through drawing and a curiosity for mathematics and physics. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid before gaining professional experience in Spain, Iceland, and the United States. His background includes experience with building enclosures and waterproofing, giving him a strong understanding of the technical aspects of building design and construction. His time working in Reykjavík further broadened his knowledge of different construction systems and strengthened his appreciation for architecture that responds thoughtfully to its natural surroundings. His international experience across architecture and construction continues to inform his approach to design.
